Sarah Skiles Loves A Good Story.
Sarah is a cross-format writer and producer.
She believes the world is weird, wonderful, heartbreaking, and far too interesting to not shine a light on the stories around us.
Her tastes run eclectic and so does her work— which can be found on television and streaming platforms as well as online journals.
She wouldn’t mind it if someone manufactured salami flavored chewing gum. Please don't hold it against her.
Docuseries. Scripted. Competition.
Documentaries. Game Shows.
Sarah has hung out with monkey waiters in Japan, sat in the hot seat in a master control room with more camera feeds than NASA Mission Control, interviewed people about their greatest fears and joys, witnessed acts both strange and sublime, talked people through meltdowns right before they won half a million dollars, built a home on the Navajo Reservation, tasked art directors with making bizarre props, directed hours of VO, assembled shows in 24 hours, dreamt about AVID timelines, debated the true meaning of tinny with audio mixers, and lived on craft service snacks and cold coffee.
Television production is seldom glamorous, but it's never boring.
That's what she loves about it— the endless possibilities.

Music plays a prominent role in many of my stories, reflecting a childhood spent backstage at music arenas.
If you get her in front of more than three people, there's a chance she'll try and charm you with a story. Attendees of Los Angeles open mics, beware.
